Länsi-Teisko Prayer Room

Ever since the construction of a belfry in Länsi-Teisko in 1928, the inhabitants of the small village have wanted to have their very own church. However, they couldn’t afford constructing a church and therefore decided to build a prayer room instead. The sanctuary was designed by Martti Peltomaa and inaugurated 25 September 1966. Today, the prayer room is part of Ylöjärvi Parish.

Today, the prayer room serves as a place for services, ceremonies and prayer. The prayer room is open for visitors during services and other events which are listed in the event calender of Ylöjärvi Parish.
