Churches – right here in Ylöjärvi

Churches are typically the oldest, most valuable and most beautiful buildings in any region. They are in themselves attractions in the middle of the village. You can go to a church to sit in the quiet, contemplate and reflect, explore history and participate in various events.

There are four churches in Ylöjärvi: in Kirkonseutu, Kuru, Viljakkala and Itä-Aure. We also have two prayer rooms, one in Pengonpohja and one in Länsi-Teisko. Ylöjärvi Church (in Kirkonseutu) and Kuru Church are road churches in the summer.
