The skiing country in Ylöjärvi is ideal for both active and occasional skiers. We offer about 40 kilometres of floodlit ski tracks maintained by the city, and if there’s lots of snow, you can ski in unlit terrain amidst the stunning landscape of Seitseminen and the villages of Viljakkala and Kuru.
In Räikkä, in the heart of Ylöjärvi, there’s also an artificial snow ski track that is opened as early as the weather allows. It can be up to 1.6 kilometres long.
